CONTRACT MAINTENANCE

Pre-planned maintenance is always a good idea to ensure your refrigeration and air conditioning equipment operates to its full potential in terms of ensuring the system is as effective and energy efficient as possible which will of course help to increase the plants useful operational life.

With the introduction of the "climate change levy" and ever increasing energy bills it makes sound financial sense to ensure equipment operates as efficiently as possible, this reduces the system power consumption which in turn reduces both carbon emissions and also the system running cost.

Energy surveys can be carried out to establish how efficiently your refrigeration or air conditioning systems are performing and where necessary provide recommendations to improve efficiency.

Refrigerant leak checks are now mandatory on many air conditioning and refrigeration systems to make sure your system is not venting refrigerant into the atmosphere unnecessarily, so it is a good idea for leak checks to form part of the maintenance regime.

Many systems are still operating on refrigerant HCFC R22 which is to be completely phased out by 2010 so it makes sense for end users to be prepared and look to replace this refrigerant with an appropriate long-term replacement refrigerant.

Maintenance regimes can be tailored to suit individual customer needs depending on system type, environmental conditions, equipment location and application.

Refrigeration and air conditioning system repairs and refurbishments are also undertaken where the systems have failed for whatever reason or just require updating.

We offer a 24-hour call out facility for customers who have a maintenance contract in place to ensure your valuable equipment or produce is protected and also that insurance obligations are met.

We are pleased to undertake the maintenance of our own refrigeration and air conditioning installations as well as those installed by other companies and this may include working on sites assisting customer in-house engineers.

Health and safety is an important issue and our engineer’s work in compliance with our health & safety policy and have risk assessment and method statement documentation in place to cover all tasks we undertake.

Detailed maintenance and inspection report sheets are issued on completion to build up a comprehensive site record of all works undertaken.
